Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress, who gained recognition for her performance in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun and Beta Saajan. She first began her career as a performer in the late 1980s. The actress became popular for Tezaab, a film starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. The next film she appeared in was Dil in which she shared screen space with Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. When she was a young age, she started to take dance lessons. When she was still in high school, she attempted acting, but the majority films she attempted to make were unsuccessful. In the end, she was successful with Indian cinema and rose to the top. She took a break from her profession following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her fame is based on her social works as well.
